I’ve hit on a new way to use decals in my mosaic art. It isn’t hard at all and I’m having a blast thinking of cool things to say. The Me Crazy piece is definitely my favorite so far, but I’ve got a few more that are pretty cute. I love this one:
I came across this Polish saying while browsing the net, and then found out that it is popular on Facebook. Coming up with the circus motif was a lot of fun:
I’ll do a post on how to make the saying soon, but for now I have a tip on grouting them. Use a fairly wet grout mixture – the dry mixtures are rougher on the tiles. Try to avoid (as much as possible) getting grout onto the saying. Then, clean away from the saying with a damp sponge (2nd photo).
